How much does Home Proof cost?: Home Proof is a one-time App Store purchase (currently $4.99 USD in the U.S.). No subscription is required to export PDFs or attach documents.
Do I need an account?: No. Open the app and start adding appliances. Everything stays on your device.
What iOS version is required?: iOS 26.4 or later on iPhone (Apple Intelligence features require a supported device).
Does Home Proof upload my receipts?: No. Receipts and inventory are stored locally. PDF export only leaves your device when you share it.
Can I include receipt photos in the insurance PDF?: Yes. Turn on “Include receipt & manual photos” on the Inventory tab before exporting.
How do warranty reminders work?: Enable reminders in Settings, allow notifications, and set warranty end dates on appliances. You'll get local alerts 30, 7, and 1 days before expiry.
What is Apple Intelligence used for?: When available and enabled, on-device models can refine receipt fields and add an optional summary on exported PDFs. Nothing is sent to our servers.
How do I export for insurance?: Open the Inventory tab, tap Generate PDF, then use the share sheet to send or save the file. You can also ask Siri to export your inventory.
